What is IEMT?

Integral Eye Movement Therapy – is a an extremely rapid  and powerful method of change work. It helps clients to explore any undesired emotions and ways of being and then helps them change them or get rid of them. It is a content free method, so personal details need not be shared with the therapist.

The approach behind the technique explores the question, “How did you learn to feel this way about that thing?” then empowers the client by allowing then to feel differently (better) about what was bothering them.

For the practitioner, IEMT is about paying attention to the client, and what he/she is presenting at the time. Unlike other treatments involving eye movements, with this model the eye movements are neither random nor simply a repetitive left and right movement in the hope that change will occur. The training provides the tools for the practitioner to precisely calibrate which axis through which to move the eyes enabling the exploration work to occur with precision and at a remarkable speed.

For the first time in London, Alan Whitton – who is fully endorsed and approved by IEMT Developer Andrew Austin, will be teaching this  Certified Practitioner Course.
This workshop will equip therapists with IEMT Skills which they can use in their work. Notes for participants will be included, and cost does not include lunch, but there are numerous eateries within walking distance.
Bookings need to be in place before 29th January 2012 to secure your place.
